Graphis New Talent Awards Hornoable Mention (2026)
A dynamic visual mark based on an airport’s three-letter IATA code. The mark needed to respond to a set of rules and conditions, demonstrating at least five different states
Integrated the wave-like patterns into the letters “M” and “A” while applying the color zoning system to indicate location. The wavy elements change color—yellow, red, or blue—depending on where the IATA code is displayed within the airport. The flexible, circular forms of the IATA code also inspired extensions of the design into banners, signage, and staff ID graphics, creating a cohesive, adaptable, and recognizable airport visual identity.
